Species number (TNS): 658. Fore wing length: 18–24 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Occurs in the Top End of the Northern Territory from Darwin south to Mataranka and east to Kakadu National Park. Adults occur from October to February. Notable localities: Marrara, Berry Springs, Lichfield National Park. Habitat: Eucalypt woodland and riparian shrubland. Calling song and behaviour: A repetitive ratchet-like call, somewhat resembling the sound of a galloping horse. Similar species: Paperbark Tree-clicker.
