Species number (TNS): 137. Fore wing length: 15–21 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Known only from the Kalgoorlie district in southern Western Australia. Adults have been observed only during January. Notable localities: Lake Douglas (Simon lab). Habitat: Found in Mallee woodland. Calling song and behaviour: Discrete phrases of less than one second duration comprising a series of four inflected chirps. The first two chirps are emitted at a faster rate and lower volume than the two that follow. Similar species: Mulga Blackwing, Southern Brigalow Blackwing, Noonbah Blackwing.
