Species number (TNS): 012. Fore wing length: 28–34 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Western Australia, coastally from the Murchison River south to Augusta. Adults occur from October to March. Notable localities: Perth, Geraldton. Habitat: Populations occur in open heath growing on sandy soils. Calling song and behaviour: A course, grating continuous call. Adults typically sit on the branches of small trees. Similar species: Eastern Sandgrinder.
