Distribution and seasonality:             North Queensland, from the tip of Cape York Peninsula south to Weipa. Adults occur from November to February. Notable localities:                               Heathlands, Wenlock River. Habitat:                                                  Populations occur in eucalypt woodland. Calling song and behaviour:                     Rapidly emitted double-clicking with occasional triple clicks. Adults sit on the main trunks of eucalypts. Similar species:                                   River Galloper.
