Species number (TNS): 021. Fore wing length: 38–45 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Restricted to a small area north of Cooktown in north-east Queensland. Adults occur during December and January. Notable localities: McIvor River. Habitat: Rainforest. Calling song and behaviour: The song of this species unknown, but is likely to involve a loud crescendo of metallic notes before fading away. Adults sit on the main trunks of rainforest trees. Similar species: Jungle Grinder, Cape York Grinder.
