Previously referred to as Cicadetta cuensis. Species number (TNS): 256. Fore wing length: 19–23 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Central Western Australia from Cue south-west to near Yalgoo. Adults occur during January and February. Notable localities: Cue. Habitat: Inhabits low shrubland dominated by wattles and emu-bush. Calling song and behaviour: A long series of rapid, high- pitched, chirping notes. Adults sit on the outer stems of acacias and other shrubs. Similar species: Shrub Wattle Cicada.
