Species number (TNS): 006. Fore wing length: 43–51 mm. Distribution and seasonality: From Carnarvon south to Dirk Hartog Island in Western Australia and also central Australia, broadly from the South Australian border north to the Alice Springs region in the Northern Territory. Adults occur from October to February. Notable localities: Alice Springs, Carnarvon. Habitat: Populations occur in association with eucalypts, particularly along watercourses. Calling song and behaviour: A shrill, electric whine, similar to other species in the genus. Adults sit on the main trunk and main branches of eucalypts. Similar species: Desert Double Drummer.
