Species number (TNS): 370. Fore wing length: 11–14 mm. Distribution and seasonality: From Jericho south to Bollon and near St George in Queensland. Adults occur from December to January. Notable localities: Jericho, Bollon. Habitat: Open or sparse grassland and low open grassy woodland. Calling song and behaviour: A strident clicking call. Males sing from stationary vantage points in clumps of grass and in small shrubs. They are wary and quite difficult to observe. Similar species: Maranoa Grass-clicker.
