Species number (TNS): 028. Fore wing length: 21–24 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Mainly inland areas of north Western Australia, the Northern Territory and western Queensland. Adults have been observed between August and February. Notable localities: Tom Price, Kununurra (M.S. Moulds), Alexandria. Habitat: Populations occur in grassland, including spinifex. Calling song and behaviour: A buzzing call. Adults sit on the stems of grass where they remain fairly sedentary. Similar species: Spinifex Buzzer.
