Species number (TNS):        508. Fore wing length:               21–26 mm. Distribution and seasonality:   A cool temperate distribution, from Barrington Tops in New South Wales south to Durras on the south coast and inland to near Nimmitabel and the Australian Capital Territory. Adults occur during December and January. Notable localities:             Bargo, Nimmitabel. Habitat:                                   Eucalypt forest and woodland, including remnant roadside patches. Calling song and behaviour:    Song unknown, likely to be a soft ticking call produced mostly in flight. Adults sit on the main trunks and upper branches of eucalypts. Similar species:                    Black Firetail, Sydney Treetop Ticker.
