Species number (TNS): 467. Fore wing length: 23–31 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Mainly subcoastal districts from Binjour Plateau, near Gayndah, in south-east Queensland south to near Ballina in northern New South Wales. Notable localities: Blackbutt, Highfields, Anstead. Habitat: Wet and dry eucalypt forest. Calling song and behaviour: Resembles the calling song of Coastal Treetop Ticker, with soft clicking interspersed with occasional short chirps. Males often call whilst in flight. Similar species: Coastal Treetop Ticker.
