Species number (TNS): 361. Fore wing length: 12–14 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Eastern Queensland, from the Blackdown Tableland south to near Inglewood. Adults occur from October to December. Notable localities: Columboola. Habitat: Open forest and woodland, typically in association with She-Oaks (Allocasuarina spp.). Calling song and behaviour: Short, high frequency, repetitive chirping. Adults typically sit high up on the main trunks and upper branches of She-Oaks. Similar species: None; a distinctive cicada.
